Marc Hadden, from South Carolina, was responding to a job in November 2011 when he realised the woman in labour wasn’t going to make it to a doctor, so he delivered the baby himself. Marc’s wife Beth recalled how he reacted after the life-changing incident, saying: “He called me and he was ecstatic. I mean, he delivered a baby and who in the world gets to deliver a baby in their lifetime that’s not a doctor?” Baby Grace was immediately put up for adoption after her birth by her mother and Marc, along with his wife Beth, decided she was a blessing and that they wanted to welcome her into their family. Now Grace is five years old and is a ‘total Daddy’s girl’, by her father’s own admission. Marc told Mirror Online: “She is my best friend.
